She wanted to walk towards Sidharth on ‘Ranjha’, which is their song. “But it’s a sad song!” I argued. “But it’s our song!” She maintained! Ever since I was a little kid, it was a dream to have a picture of my family dinner with all the people I love. Many years on I learnt one more thing. The reason for our success lies in the crew we nurture. I cannot do this alone. To make 350 loving documentary films over 10 years is no small feat. You need a crew. A family to have your back on days you can’t carry on. You know the joy you feel when you dream of something but then the reality is even better? That is what this dinner felt like. This is us.
